Logistec is seeking a motivated individual to join its team as superintendent in Sept-Îles. This position requires strong leadership and an interest in maritime operations.

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager

Your contribution to the Sept-Îles team will be to:


Prepare the stevedoring operations;
Determine the equipment needs and the labour force required for operations;
Coordinate the execution of maritime operations and the handling of general cargo on the terminal;
Supervise the work crews under his responsibility;
Enforce the health and safety rules in the workplace;
Prepare reports on performance and cost control;
Represent the company in various committees or meetings.

We are looking for candidates with:


Experience in supervising unionized employees;
Availability to work on shifts;
Displaying autonomy, teamwork, flexibility and judgment;
An ability to make decisions;
Bilingualism, both oral and written (French and English);
A college degree.
