We are seeking candidates to fill the position of Superintendent for Rideau Bulk Terminals in North Gower (ON).

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager

Responsibilities
· Plan and coordinate the operation of loading and unloading vessels and/or terminal activities for handling break-bulk and bulk merchandise;
· Determine the equipment needs and the labour force required for the operation;
· Manage and control cost related to the operations;
· Enforce health and safety regulations in the work environment;
· Supervise the work team under your supervision;
· Prepare performance reports;
· Represent the company by participating to internal committees or by assisting to public meetings.

Qualifications
· Experience in a supervisory role;
· Bilingualism (French and English);
· Availability to work on shifts;
· Availability to work at other operations sites in Eastern Ontario;
· Displaying autonomy, team work, flexibility and judgment;
· Ability to make decisions.
